Perfect restaurant for takeout or dine in. Been here hundreds of times, this is their best location IMO. Reliable and open late. Great chips and salsa or guacamole especially when the jalapenos are ripe. Everything is good, Bistec a la Mexicana if you want the good steak.

The food can be really good or really bad.. unfortunately, I've had the opportunity to be on both sides of the fork.. I think it simply depends on who's cooking your food... I now know the cooks by face so I know when to order and when not to order.. the customer service is always great, tho. If I'm being honest even when the food is not good, it's still not the worst tacos I've eaten .

I, personally, only order takeout from here, as thats always been what my family has done, but I have seen and heard the interior when I come to pick up my order. Nicely designed and lit, and not too loud inside. The food itself is quite good with decent portions, my go-to it normally any burrito/torta, followed with some horchata. I cannot speak personally for the tacos, sopas, and so on, but my family typically orders such items and always seem pleased so I assume their quality stands for itself. Nice spot if you are ever feeling like having some Mexican style meals.

Hands down this is the absolute best Mexican food in Illinois. It's never a hit or miss its always a Hit!!!! Everything on the menu is seasoned perfectly. The meat is Always tender and cooked to perfection. Everything is fresh every time. I love the Guacamole. The service is excellent the price is excellent. It's the perfect place and has great hours.

The food here is always absolutely phenomenal. Fast, hot, and generous portion sizes for a reasonable price. All of their salsas are delicious. My husband and I have been going here for 8 years as a regular date spot, even after we moved an hour away. It's our favourite taco joint.

I've been eating here consistently since 1997. Let me just say, the owners/employees are the same as I remember from over 25 years ago. Always busy, always consistently delicious, great service. No brainer to eat here any chance you get, awesome late night stop after a night out. I love the giant deep fried burrito (chimichanga).
